This is a great book on how to deal with aging parents. There are many transitions including adjusting their home for safety, home care, hospice, nursing homes, assisted living centers, etc. Each presents a different challenge.

Good advice. It’s important to plan but it’s also important to reassess the plan and make sure it is accomplishing what it is supposed to. In order for a plan to be effective, it needs to have scheduled reassessments.

Excellent advice and suggestions.

We need to remember to re-evaluate when things are not going as planned. Trialing treatments, equipment and home support are excellent solutions.

Excellent tips and advice. Thank you for sharing! Decreased sense of taste is also important as it can impact the individuals appetite. Some seniors do not get adequate nutrition because they have lost their sense of smell and thus their appetite.
