AMAZING PLACE HOUSTON (where event will be held) http://amazingplacehouston.org/
The mission of Amazing Place is to provide fellowship, memory care and wellness for adults with mild to moderate memory loss and support to their families and the community.
Amazing Place is currently located in a new, state-of-the-art facility where the organization will triple its service to the greater Houston community. Our model day program has been greatly expanded in this new space to offer five unique rooms for participant activities. Caregiver families also have space designed specifically for their training, education, socialization and conferencing with staff.
Our program recognizes the individual needs and abilities of our participants, our welcoming environment encourages friendships, and our professionally trained staff promotes self-efficacy. We offer a variety of activities that build cognitive skills and help to offset the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
